Hi! My name is Rachel Taylor and I founded Trim & Tails in early 2019. We pride ourselves on taking the utmost care of your fur-babies. Whilst being fully qualified, fully insured, canine first aid trained and based in our home salon, I only offer 1 to 1 grooming to ensure your dog’s groom is completed to an incredibly high standard. Dogs have access to my private and secure garden before, during and after their grooms to unwind and toilet. We have our own seven curly Taylor boys who are kept totally seperately from client’s dogs – the whole reason Trim & Tails was started, I want to be the dog groomer I would love to send my own dogs to.

Emmipet Teeth Cleaning – Package 2
30 minutes and over
From £30
Initial session £30, lasting roughly 30 minutes including your dogs own toothbrush head. Additional sessions after this are £15 lasting 20 minuutes and are ideal to add onto a groom.
This treatment is designed for dogs needing maintenance to keep their teeth clean – please note this is not suitable for dogs with huge amounts of plaque or tartar on their teeth.
(Toothbrush heads should last 25 sessions if your dog does not chew it. Additional toothbrush heads are charged at £8 each.)

10 x 30 min sessions
£95
2 week intense treatment (10 sessions lasting 25-30 minutes) – £95. This includes your dogs own toothbrush head. This treatment is designed for dogs that already have some tartar build up and require an intensive course to heal gums and promote cleaner teeth. (Toothbrush heads should last 25 sessions if your dog does not chew it. Additional toothbrush heads are charged at £8 each).
Bath & Blow Dry
1 hour
From £25
Brush out, bath, blueberry facial, blow dry & finished with doggy perfume. This service does not include any trimming of any fur – if there are matts that need removing an additional £5-10 will be added to the original charge. *Please note this is from £25, price will increase with size of dog, coat condition (matting) and dog’s behaviour*
De-shed & Full Works
1 hour 30 minutes and over
From £25
De-shed, bath, blueberry facial, blow dry, ear clean & nail trim, finished with doggy perfume.
Short haired coats (pugs, french bulldogs) start at £25, while long haired coats such (Pomeranian, chihuahua) start at £30.
*Please note this is from £25/£30, price will increase with size of dog, coat condition and dog’s behaviour*
Puppy Introduction Groom
1 hour and over
From £25
Brush out, bath, blueberry facial, blow dry, ear clean, nail trim, hygiene trim (bottom & bits) and face tidy. This is designed to allow your puppy to get used to the grooming process as it is full of new sounds and smells. Highly recommended for puppies under 6 months old. * Please note this is from £25, so a chihuahua puppy and husky puppy will not be the same price!*
Full Groom
2 hours and over
From £35
Brush out, bath x 2 shampoos, blueberry facial, blow dry, ear clean, nail trim & file and a full clip/scissor finished with a complimentary bow & doggy perfume too! *Please note this is from £35, price will increase with size of dog, coat condition (matting) and dog’s behaviour*

We cannot recommend Rachel enough! The effort and love she puts into her grooms are above and beyond. Woody loved playing with her 4 gorgeous fur babies which calmed him down before his groom where he can be quite nervous. This was his first time with Rachel and the first time ever I have seen Woody come away happy and wagging his tail. The time she not only put in with Woody but the lovely talk beforehand and the pictures sent throughout kept me reassured! Thank you so so much – Woody and I cannot wait to book back in 💙 x

Would 100% recommend Trim and Taylor. This was Lucy’s first time being groomed. Rachel was so patient with her and took her time, clearly showing a good understanding of her needs. Despite Lucy always having a ‘good brush’, i couldn’t believe how much fur came from her undercoat. She looks amazing and feels silky soft. Always the princess, she now has extra sass. I highly recommend Rachel’s grooming service. Rachel is so patient and has such a lovely way with dogs. Harper enjoyed playing with Rachel’s dogs before her grooming. Would highly recommend! I just picked up my pug Buddy from being washed, de-shed, nails trimmed, ears cleaned and he even had a blueberry facial. Rach took extra care in looking after Buddy by using medicated shampoo as he has trouble with his skin and I’m super impressed. I’ll definitely be taking him back – and so should you!
